Apple Email Templates

In 2002, there was no coherent look-and-feel to Apple’s customer email communications. Its customers may have seen five or so different email designs coming from different Apple departments.

In this project, I created a modular email template system for Apple that was strict enough so that all Apple email’s shared a similar design, but that was flexible enough to allow for each unique situation.

The template consists of a header to identify Apple as the sender, a headline and then a stage to showcase the product. Below the stage is the call-to-action section, followed by the body copy. On the right is a column of secondary links. The design is a hybrid of Apple’s retail look-and-feel and its online design.

The project consisted of email templates for Apple’s corporate marketing group, the online store, e-newsletters and other groups.
