Mitsubishi Motors has been a challenger in the market, trying to revitalize their brand. One of the major initiatives was the launch of their all-new Lancer compact sedan.
This vehicle has had a rich legacy in rally racing, and this new design incorporated many race-inspired features (such as paddle shifters) plus higher-end features in this lower-end car (such as 650-watt premium audio systems).
Under a tight timeline and with a small budget and limited assets, we produced a microsite that honors the design and features of the new car while leveraging great rally racing and press footage. The site’s design is inspired by the large video wall displays at auto shows and uses video and voiceover to tell the story of how Mitsubishi’s engineers brought rally-inspired technology into the Lancer.
