This was my very first website design, way back in the mid-1990s. This was an online portfolio site for the design firm where I worked, Zimmermann Crowe Design. The home page featured an animated GIF of a dancing clown in the spotlight. The mysterious whimsy of this opening image sets the tone for the rest of the website, rich with dark textures and no-nonsense copy.
